A great turnout from the SMS scene! The retro title gets a lot of love in Halifax and the locals proved it! Awesome to see a great clash from Smash and FGC regulars alike! A great game that bridges both communities here in Atlantic Canada!

This was the first event in Atlantic Canada with SMS as the main game.

SMS went from my couch, to the corner of a bar, to the big regional;
the idea that I have enough local players to run an event FOR sms is actually already beyond what I expected to achieve.

The support everyone local gives me is something I'll never be able to fully express my gratitude for; but that won't stop me from trying every 2 weeks.

My wife encouraging me to invest in something I loved; Cole for taking me and my game seriously; The local melee scene for CARRYING me and sms since day 1; Bongos for sharing a love of the game with me and helping me share it.

All the sms settups full of people before bracket even started, a crowd of people cheering for round 3 game 5 sets. People sharing tech with eachother ???? You can't imagine how proud I feel.
This silly bracket is legitimately a memory I'll always carry with me.

I love you all, I love my game, you're all so cracked at it already.
SMS is so healthy in Atlantic Canada and it's such a pleasure to be able to hangout and game with yall.
